Slimbridge Wetlands Centre
Slimbridge Wetlands Centre is just 800 yards down the road from Tudor Caravan Park - an easy 5 minute walk.
The centre was started by Sir Peter Scott and is hailed as the birthplace of modern conservation and is a perfect place to get close to nature.
The Cotswolds
Tudor Caravan Park is an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds - sited in the Severn Vale, along the Cotswolds Edge about halfway along the famous Cotswold Way between Bath & Chipping Campden, with good access to lovely unspoilt Cotswold villages & Gloucestershire.
Berkeley
Less than 5 miles from Tudor Caravan Park - the centrepiece of Berkeley is undoubtedly the magnificent 12th century Berkeley Castle with its dark and brooding bloodstained history.
It is also the place where a humble village doctor made an amazing medical discovery.
Severn Bore
The Severn Bore is one of Britain's few truly spectacular natural phenomena. It is a large surge wave that can be seen in the estuary of the River Severn, where the tidal range is the 2nd highest in the world, with the wave sometimes extending beyond Gloucester.

The National Arboretum at Westonbirt is an internationally important tree and shrub collection and one of the finest tree collections in the world today with 17 miles of accessible paths, unusual canopy walkway, and spectaular natural shows in every season.
Cotswolds Cycling
Tudor Caravan Park is on National Cycle Route 41 and close to the proposed Route 45. We are also on the Cotswolds Circular Cycling Route which tours through many of the pretty Cotswold towns & villages and stunning scenery.
